Our pricing philosophy

Fair isn’t the same as equal.

Different customers can pay different prices and still receive equally fair treatment. The point is not to charge as little—or as much—as possible. It is to make the terms reasonable for both sides.

Different scale.
Different needs.
Fair terms.

IndividualsUseful software should remain accessible when the use and support burden are small.
Growing teamsSerious tools should be within reach without treating every company like a global enterprise.
Large organizationsGreater value, infrastructure, security, scale, and support can reasonably carry a greater price.

These are principles, not a fixed formula. Every product has different economics, and not every future Pariven product will use the same pricing model.

What can matter

Pricing in proportion.

A reasonable model may account for multiple realities. No single factor automatically determines the answer.

Value and usage

How much the product does, how often it is used, and what it enables for the customer.

Scale and complexity

Users, workloads, deployment needs, product depth, and the size of the environment involved.

Infrastructure and support

Recurring services, hosting, security work, reliability, and the level of customer support required.

A sustainable business

Profit and fairness belong in the same sentence.

Pariven is a for-profit company. Revenue funds product development, infrastructure, support, and the ability to keep building. Resisting unnecessary extraction is not a rejection of profit; it is a preference for durable customer relationships and pricing with a clear rationale.

Subscriptions make sense when a product carries meaningful recurring costs or continuous service. One-time purchases can make sense when they do not. The product should drive the model—not habit.
